"Imagine a church . . . that could not sing without feeding the poor, nor feed the poor without nourishment from the Eucharist, nor pass the peace without living peaceably in the world, nor be peacemakers without depending on prayer, nor pray without joining in robust song." --Schlabach

My name is Andrew, but I mostly go by AJ. I went to college full time for 8 semesters and am taking one last semester to finish up. I took classes full-time at 4 different colleges, including a community college in Sacramento, a Bible college that's in a part of Germany inside Switzerland, and a college in Thessalonica, Greece. The other 5 semesters I spent at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. I am finish my BA at PLNU (January through May 2007).
I am highly introspective. I like to think, talk, and write about myself and about why I think/do/feel/perceive things in the ways that I do. I love to learn. I read a lot of books about success and personal development. I'm a straight guy. I'm a Christian and member of Liberty Towers Church of the Nazarene. I majored in Philosophy/Theology and minored in Psychology. I picked these disciplines because they were interesting to me, as opposed to picking them because I intended to go into a related profession. I may end up using what I studied as a profession, though. One of my goals is to be a professor and teach religion classes.
I am a Mac OS X user (aspiring to Mac Geek-hood), currently running Tiger on a 500 MHz iBook, booting from an external FW400 hard disk. I have preferred Macintosh over Windows for a long time, but I also use Windows on a moderately frequent basis. Frankly, too many Windows machines exist for me to not use them occasionally. I am familiar with each OS, but I can trouble shoot a little better with Macs.
For anyone interested in reading some good books, especially regarding success and/or personal development, I recommend the following three to get you started (in alphabetical order): Dale Carnegie's How to Win Friends and Influence People, David Schwartz's The Magic of Thinking Big, and Zig Ziglar's See You at the Top.
